Negatives:
- In fact, very loud
- An unclean, to sandy-feeling, running (probably because of the engines)
- Gear lever does not work
- Far too imprecise pedals, brake know (more or less) only on or off
- At an office table not fastened, because too short fixing bars ...
- ... And at a normal table simply not strong enough. Who real grip on the Nordschleife, the entire wheel has sometimes at 200kmh in hand
I've used a 15-year-old Thrustmaster Modena. No force feedback, not very well made and has taken over the years a few maintenance. And the software or calibration ... well. But for that it cost only about $ 100. For Arcade and simulation wars ok, not realistic, but ok.
Well I just wanted to have a new steering wheel, that just does a little FF and not (really) belongs in a museum. The Logitech Driving Force GT liked as an entry model and also had a small gear stick - Ideal for a fast lap.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed on the look out. Not a nice feeling of steering, the pedal is not suitable for more than Arcade. Perhaps F1 games are still conceivable touring car or even further underneath are a horror. It's loud and give a no more than a touch of driving experience. Anyone who feels as a normal ride, which brought his car quickly in the workshop.
I can not therefore recommend and think beginners are as well positioned with a cheaper steering wheel. For me, it unfortunately remains at the old Thrustmaster.
