There are multiple pages fed at a time and stored eg in a PDF.
I tried the three Amazon supplied "test sites" (Advertising). The templates were different sizes. Front and rear faces are automatically detected and the content also automatically rotated and cropped.
Neutral
If you insert templates sloppy, which can easily lead to paper jam. The jam can be easily and quickly fix, in which one opens the scanner with a key. Then you can continue scanning in the same PDF. The faulty pages are not included in the PDF.
Contraindications
On Mac OS X 10.9.4, the scanner is not recognized by the operating system. Even installing the supplied software (drivers?) Does not change anything.
CaptureOn Touch itself looks like an unfinished app that adheres to any Mac Design Pattern. The app window is huge. At the same time, the structure is so bad that many texts are still cut off. For example, is instead "Save As PDF DropBox" there "Save unt ..."; now there are 6 icons labeled "Save unt ...".
The OCR software CaptureOn Touch is not mature. White text on a black background, it has not recognized me. As other solutions are much better. Unfortunately, you can, at least for now, the Mac does not use with this scanner.
Currently you will find on the German Canon Page no software for P215II. Ie you need necessarily a CD drive for installation.
So much for this purpose, in my role as a beta tester.
