- The lamp is not to be dimmed (despite imprint "Dimmable"). You always glows almost at full brightness. (Phase cut dimmer for resistive and inductive loads used)
- The jagged lens diffuses the light unevenly. In Milchgläsernen lampshade has not liked me.
- The lamp is booming (like the dimmer also) when you scale down the brightness, or at least tried (yes, was "only" a hardware store dimmer, other LED lamps are but quieter)
- And ... the lamp is really Supersize, so be sure to check the dimensions!

In direct comparison, I also had the following lamp available here at Amazon:
Osram LED Lustre Superstar Classic P40 6 W corresponds to 40 W, extra warm tone (827) E14 dimmable 43716B1OS 900 905 [Energy Class A]
The Osram can be dimmed like a normal bulb.
Although the Osram buzzing too, but is a little quieter than the Philips.
Unfortunately, Osram has a slight delay. It captures only about 200ms after the bulbs on the light. This one feels possibly disturbing if one uses the Osram together with other bulbs in a lamp at the same time.
