The support is solid and stable. However most joints are moderately strong plastic .. This makes it unsuitable for a truly pro use, but should suffice occasionally. The tips of the jaw, red plastic, are not at all secure. They fall on first use. I have them removed because even with glue ends up leaving here. This works well without these tips.
