I bought the solar charger, since I was 4 months in Africa. I wanted to invite my smartphone. I thought, wow a cool idea that I lay in the sun and in the evening I can load my phone. I had indeed already read that it takes about 40 hours to fully it is but that it would really take so long I could not imagine. So in short, the part of consumption forever until it is charging. Did it added a day in the sun and then reinbekommen perhaps 3 percent (5000mAh smartphone battery) into the phone. So you have to be very patient if you want to load what herewith. Another point that I noticed negative is that the button for on / off is very sensitive and is like to be defective. My first solar charger was broken after one day and then I have to get another. My second is then lifted up to now, but the button is yet remained always hang times and I had to be afraid that he will not come out.
Also not so great is the charging time. While my phone (5000 mAh) in approximately 3 hours completely full will need the solar charger with the same charging cable at least 7 hours.
Positives: * Price * Function as an external battery * Robust housing (exceptions on / off button)
Negatives: * Extremely long time to load on solar * On / Off button tends to zicken
