192.168.1.1 called and after about 20 minutes you could also move halfway through the liquid interface. Decorated in gray, rudimentary settings even in advanced mode: Unfortunately, this was more than ugly.
I had actually bought the device because I had hoped for two things: faster WLAN N for standard and better settings than in my old FB7170. In both I was disappointed.
The Wireless N standard reached in only 3Mbyte / s, although the devices were directly next to each other. Granted, I could not take advantage of the 5 GHz frequency, but I hoped it would be as more and I've already experienced differently.
In the settings of the router I was able to separate the DHCP range of the fixed portion not even. I wanted to set the DHCP scope at xxx100-105 and the fixed range according to the type 20-29 for fixed devices, 30-39 for mobile devices, 40-49 for TV, PS3, etc., and the Chromecast then for example in the DHCP zone. Unfortunately it does not work.
Too bad, then probably a more expensive device must be found - eventually. Perhaps a FB, even if I do not need the built-in modem.
