Buy from Amazon.com, supply and installation were carried out smoothly. The first start-up was as unproblematic, although we missed a separate program for washing delicates - instead we have therefore for lack of alternatives, the easy-care program used. So far so good. The first big question occurred when we realized that a not insignificant number of lint remaining in the machine after drying in the drum, which were the next wash cycle on the then washed laundry. Noticed we have this effect, however, not until after my wife cotton diapers has dried and then I washed predominantly black clothing. I remembered that the Miele washer-dryer of my parents had a special lint program that you should run after each drying (and lasted about five minutes). The LG has loudly manual something similar - is called Clean Tub and lasts beaten two (!!!) hours. In my view, could not be the solution to our problem and so my wife called down to the LG Hotline, where one could however also not really help her (according to statement of the employee should my wife run the Drum Cleaning program already described -. That the is neither economical nor practical, I probably hardly mention). In the next two months we have become accustomed to clean the machine after every drying cycle with a Kurzspülprogramm, the result usually was only moderately satisfactory because always Restflusen were found at the drum input.
Since the beginning of the new year and about 2.5 months of use of the washer-dryer began to give when washing significant noises whose origin we unfortunately could not locate. Since the noise also occurred regardless of the water inlet and outlet and also could not be attributed to the drum motor, because he was also then be heard, when the drum is not moving, we contacted the LG customer service via e-mail through our problem. After a few days, we received the answer that you have commissioned a service center near your home to repair the defect. The repair technician called then a little later on, could be described the problem and said that the noise probably due to a clogged nozzle (is highlighted in yellow on the drum input) are due, which will not hesitate to clean my wife herself. The technician wanted to call and check if the problem is solved by this measure again the next day. The next day my wife received the promised call - but not by said technicians but by a colleague who told that the spare part (from which no mention was previously) had been delivered and should be installed the next day. At this point, a certain restlessness already made itself felt with me, because I felt that was apparently not communicated in the said company together was, however, initially Reset my concerns, because I was hoping, of course, that a repair locally solve the problem would. And when I yesterday evening returned home, my wife told me happily that the technicians have said that the problem was resolved after he requires about 1.5 hours to clean the said nozzle, for whose maintenance however had to dismantle half the machine (as we have this self-cleaning, as proposed by the customer service, to perform?). After the first test run, however, confirmed my guess - the sound was still heard. Fortunately, I was able to obtain a collection of the washer-dryer on a friendly Amazon employees on the same evening.
My personal conclusion: a nice to seeing equipment that comes up with interesting features, but little practical maid is possible (lack of suitable delicate and Flusenprogramm, drum cleaning takes regularly about two hours) and has at least proved little life with us. For a device whose original price is in the high three-digit range, I expect an absolutely unrestricted functionality and a 1a customer service. Unfortunately, our LG has not complied with the consistently positive judgments on the Internet - a pity (now it is a standard washing machine alternatively then again become that we, due to the 1a-Service of Amazon.com, of course bought again have).
