I bought this cheap charger that is made "specifically for the Raspberry Pi" according to the description by the seller. Flee the low-end product that does not match at all the announced features. Product Page announced that the amperage is sufficient to "feed both your Raspberry Pi and USB devices." This is simply untrue. I have indeed used this charger to power my Raspberry Pi device without any whatsoever, (only the ethernet connection for ssh session) and as soon as the Ethernet connection is used a little at a minimum, and the voltage drops the connection is lost. Can not do anything. At first I thought the problem was Pi, but control the voltmeter shows the voltage drop since the Ethernet is a bit loaded.
I have not had any problems like this with any other charger USB 1A I had bought in a hardware store.
In short, suitable for a mobile phone, but certainly not for the Pi. Moreover, the weight of the product in hand leaves little hope the quality ...
