With great expectations I had bought the last album of Faith No More, "Album of the Year". But I do not quite know to this day how to arrange the plate and it's hard to say why. The first pieces sound very promising after FNM one only with "Collision" a hard-hitting than actually cut Heavy-grunge to klassifiziernde number around the ears and then strike with "Strip Search" a rather mystical sounding quieter sound. Even with this album you realize that simply FNM any categorization always resisted. However, the disc over long distances is also a little unspectacular, because just come up with songs like "Last Cup of Sorrow" and "Helpless" more commercial sounds. But of course, succeed in Faith No More with "Ashes to Ashes" Here again a hit, which comes across really well because of its dark sounds. A delicacy is, I find, "Paths of Glory", in which the sinister sound already is almost towards darkwave. Maybe it's not the best album of rock revolutionaries from San Francisco, but probably one is spoiled by the previous panels also too much. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
