not to compare with the first part!

When I read "Matched" I Cassia and Ky fit closed because their passion in the heart. But in "Crossed" I got the feeling that when they finally meet again and the need to hide the first time without this passion is not there anymore.
At least the part of Cassie I am surprised by their egocentric nature: Much of what she does is stubborn and incomprehensible, even though I had exactly the opposite impression in "Matched".
All the things that have made human for me, with whom you perhaps the one time or another could identify with, have disappeared.

About Ky however, we learn more than in "crossed", as many chapters are written from his perspective.
One has the feeling that he is inside the other hand defends, to open up and get closer to the other, because it makes vulnerable. Because all he wants is Cassia. No one and nothing else. He has seen enough suffering in his life. But Cassia is vernahrt in the rebellion, and it's almost the impression that Ky was just an excuse, because in my opinion it was quite clear that they would let Ky for the rebellion down.

While it is repeatedly said that Cassia and Ky love each other. But nothing more. No emotions or understanding of each other.
So many doubts in their relationship, so little understanding among themselves and so much understanding of each other's people.
What your love has particularly made, I have not found again in "Crossed". I hope it comes up again in the last part of the trilogy!
