Processing and quality look very ordentich and solid, as with all Microsoft hardware products
The adapter comes with a 10cm HDMI extension, if the drive does not fit to the TV, you can position it so freely. +

FUNCTION
About Devices -> Connect to connect the adapter within a few seconds. The content transfer works fine and without jerking. A minimum lag is noticeable, but that can not be well avoided. For work, I would not use the adapter for video or photos but a great thing.
Only gripe: The mouse works with a delay of some more seconds. This is relatively annoying and inconvenient, so a star deduction.

SET UP
Theoretically, very light, but div. Error sources are excluded, which cost me a total of about one hour. The product, however, can not help it. I'll describe my mistakes here times to allow any other users to save trouble and time
- When installed on a Surface Virtual Box, can m, not to be combined with the adapter, for whatever reason ... because I do not necessarily need the program that is not a KO criterion
- The USB AC adapter should bring enough power 2000mAh should be there ... there are enough older USB power supplies with less (also 2.0), which will not be enough
- Do not use USB extension so that crashed with me permanently from the adapter. I then used a 230V power cable extension.
