Not to use HDMI connection

2 stars I admit, because the HDMI connection is not usable so.
Why?
I have a DS214, a Raspberry with XBMC (14.0 Kodi), an AVR SONY 840 and a Samsung 46 "LED TV.
The QNAP TS-251 I wanted to try my Raspberry and my DS214 replace. Unfortunately, the experiment fully went wrong.
In my "old" constellation it was possible to control everything about the Samsung remote control (HDMI CEC), that I turn the TV on and select the source from XBMC, finished, all devices will turn on and choose the MAKE source (HDMI goes from the TV to the AV receiver and any other devices connected to the AV receiver.)
Also XBMC can be operated via the remote control wonderfully Samsung TV.

The TS-251 is no longer, this HDMI connection does not support CEC. I really can not understand how such "forgotten" something can ?!
But that's not all!
After I turn off my TV and AV receiver and turn on again is no image from the TS-251!
Only after I re-plug the HDMI cable from the TS-251 you see something again !! There seems to be a handshake problem well here.
Another NO GO!

The fact that you have to start the XBMC on the HDMI "interface" only with the "iPhone remote" is not beautiful.

The normal capacity of NAS TS-251 is excellent!
The CPU is sau quickly, the web interface is working as quickly as if you were working directly to a computer.
The transfer rates via Gbit LAN are great! Read -> 130MB / s write 100MB / s.
The fan is after the system has booted barely audible.
The case processing is okay.
The software (compared to Synology) is really really good !!!
You can upgrade for 46 to 4GB of RAM, which is really pleasant (redirect = true & ref_ = oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00)

Since I bought this NAS to utilize the HDMI port and it does not work as it is state of things today, I have to send back the unit.

For whom the device is recommended?
For those who want a powerful NAS, but will not use the HDMI connection!
The question is whether you really need to buy but then the expensive by an average of 50 euros QNAP ....
