Normally I would have returned the knife. The blades were not polished, partially very jagged and not trimmed. I have only once chased a metal chip in the fingers, as I've tried all the functions. Because my daughter has but so pleased with her knife, I have not been returned. After the 5 * ratings consistently I am quite disappointed and would not expect such a bad quality.
