Nice design, the device is still very light and do not really exudes solidity. Playing DVDs and Bluray flawless.
Menus are means in the Sony / PS3 style, I'm not a big fan.
Multimedia side, if well recognizes the type of AVI and MP4 files (not tested on MKV), subtitles, management is calamitous and drive plant on all French language accents perfectly even on SRT encoded UTF8.
I traded against LG in the same price range that erases all these faults. Sony must review its copy.
