The device should replace my old Seagate media player, with whom I Films (mostly HD) look from hard drive via USB and video and music streame in home network - this task was always assumed to full satisfaction, merely jerked Full HD via network. Thanks to Android, the possibility should also be opened with this device, Amazon Prime, power cinema etc. to see on TV. The greater the disappointment that nothing my Objectives works properly: Netzino jerky with HD movies (wireless and Ethernet), home network jerky and - this is the absolute knockout the Criterion own movies via USB stutter from a resolution of 1280x720 (HD Ready). I'm not talking about occasional stuttering, but of permanent misfires that make watching a misery. My Internet connection is fast enough, the download from the Play Goals was fast. To make matters worse, the operation using the supplied remote is a complete disgrace and also with a special wireless keyboard for Android devices makes it all little fun and degenerates into annoyed fumbling out. It is possible that I have bad luck with my equipment or my standards are just too high - but after 3 Android-TV sets that I could test so far, the impression makes me strongly that the technology simply has not yet come. The box was in any case once again a complete letdown.
