When I use a tripod Slik Pro 700 DX Tripod and was actually quite happy with the corresponding tripod-head, although the adjustment of the desired camera position but a bit awkward going of the hand so far.
Then came the Magic Ball 50, dismantled existing tripod head, Magic Ball 50 mounted camera (as described above) on the Magic Ball 50 screwed and off we went.
Just great, after a few minutes you get to operate the Magic Balls 50 and it's just fun to switch the camera positions and to make the corresponding photos. Everything is absolutely slight of hand and the camera can be secured using the locking handle very easily. The camera sits after fixing "bomb-proof" on the ball. A notable example I find the fine adjustment of the friction of the ball. About Here you can adjust the frictional resistance as one person for the movement of the camera wants it to another recording position - simply ingenious.
Summary: The Magic Ball 50 is simply a "must have" for any aspiring photographer. I immediately ordered the Magic Ball Mini for my Giotto monopod. Unfortunately, this has no adjustable friction, should a monopod but nevertheless be fine. Once I have it, I will also write this a corresponding review.
