Ocean Fresh smells different somehow ...

I am well aware that the terms "Ocean Fresh", "sea breeze" and how they may otherwise all hot, pure marketing inventions. As an ocean smells? As a landlubber I would say: more like salt and water and fish and seaweed as to what is a palmed as consumers sometimes everything as "Sea freshness". But unfortunately -ebenso how many children think cows were lilac has to be somehow used to these names and therefore expects a certain scent when buying products bearing the name "Ocean Fresh" and that applies just as well for deodorants.

For a product with the name "Ocean Fresh" I expect something more "more masculine" fragrance like Davidoff Cool Water or other deodorant brands they offer. The 8x4 deodorant spray called "Ocean Fresh" smell but by water lily and peach - this does not sound really oceanic and is it then not. The fragrance is better described as "fruity" and he flies beyond even fairly quickly. Although promises a 8x4 Deoschutz 24 hours, the fragrance has persevered, however, less than 10 hours. I think that's a bit unfortunate because the smell, not really "Ocean Fresh", but rather with its floral-powdery note quite pleasant.

With 1.55 per can (as of May 2015) the deodorant is in good middle segment. On the positive side is the fact that it is free of aluminum - a trend to which luckily also ascend more and more other brands. However, the deodorant containing alcohol - freshly shaved armpits should therefore Spray with caution, as it may cause irritation otherwise. Pimples or other skin intolerances were at least not with me before, but I would not use the product immediately after shaving.

Conclusion: solid product with an unusual scent that might like to keep a little longer.
