Although this book is a bit dated and some of the information which has done Elvis on this or that day at the beginning of his career may now be to come, but these are at best marginal. Of course, there are some gaps, not every day there is an entry, but everything even remotely interesting - and much of what actually is totally uninteresting - finds mention here.
In addition to what Elvis was so "organized" to the listed days, there are brief comments on the record releases, sales and chat placements which fall within the corresponding period.
This is not a book that one reads cozy on a cold winter evening by the fireplace, but one that you as an Elvis fan and collector repeatedly takes on hand if you want to look up what times. Visually, the work though not quite "state of the art" but that can easily get over because here alone among the contents.
For a reasonable price "Elvis Day By Day" is still a worthwhile investment for the knowledge-thirsty Elvis fan.
