Oh Mamma Mio

I've been a couple of weeks looking for a new Navi and have now decided for the Mio Moov 370. How not exactly turned out the best decision. First, I ordered the device with the maps Europe Plus, installed but was just Western Europe. According to the description, it should be 34 countries, installed or unlocked were only 20. So now I have connected the device to the PC and using the enclosed software tries to activate the rest of the card, but you should register the device itself. Theoretically enter easily, serial number of the manual or the packaging and finished.
First surprise, the numbers on manual and packaging do not match and are also still too short. So a bit of playing, sometimes with zero in front and behind, entered times with blanks, but unfortunately without success.
I then found still about 6 other numbers that were on the various bags and boxes, but because of the success was as nil.
Well then here so at least draw the current map material for the rest to the home of million. OK. Registration has now worked here the Download. For the 20 maps installed the update enormous 1.5GB was big 'Hello I just want to update only the Navi and not download the complete movie listings next week, so I've also left again.

The device itself is not bad, it is meticulously crafted and appealing in design. The display is very nice and big, but the virtual keys is very small. Here, a pin would recommend. The disc holder is great, the thing sits like ne. 1
But the TMC antenna 'who concocted the stoned belongs genuine. First of all about 1.5 meters long and then with lighter extremely rigid sheath. Just lay in the car is not. The suction cups do not hold and also under the lining can hardly bring the thing. Well then you might think but at least the TMC reception would be good, but I was wrong. Even after a few hours the unit had not received any traffic data. That was even with my old Nuvi 205 in a few minutes.

Then Keep the unit was supposed to act as a Bluetooth handsfree. I have unfortunately not brought to running this feature. Even after multiple Try the device did not recognize my phone.

Among the other features I can not say much, but the test time was too short.

The navigation itself is so-so, I would say. The map view I do not think so grandiose, because I've seen better and the picture is not really smooth. Often turns are not displayed if you drive through the curve for a long time. The announcements are clear and timely manner, the voice is annoying but pretty.

The best I would say, you make yourself a picture. If yes here at Amazon class, just order, test and if it's nothing back. My Mio comes back next week again and I can not make recommendation to buy the best of intentions.

I'm curious whether the Falk F6's may times better :)
