With "Cress" was added a new, based on Rapunzel character - namely Cress. And here I am overwhelmed. I have rarely seen such a cute, but at the same time brilliant character!
She was held captive for 7 years in a satellite and therefore has little experience dealing with social or the world. Your enthusiasm is downright adorable! But if it has to do with computer problems and about a security system to chop, then you see nothing of the slight uncertainty, because that is their territory. She was just so cute, but at the same time totally cool and a genius to boot!
Of course, one could think of book 2, somehow, that she would find her fairy tale prince in Thorne and the love story in this book was also incredibly sweet and cute and everything you could possibly want, yet not cheesy. To say that the two go together, would be an understatement!
What I like so much to Marissa Meyer's books, is that there is no love triangles. Although I like love triangles, but with fairy tale characters that is unrealistic, because there is only one true love, and it can not be that suddenly doubted their destiny or their love!
There was even a new character, and I can not express well how much I like him. Jacin joins Cinder in surprising ways, and it is probably not a character you'd overlooked because of his strong character. Mainly he's only mean things about himself and that's probably the reason why I like so much it!
Although he did not come so often, but often enough that I have taken him to heart and am extremely excited about the future course of its history, because we will be using it most likely in "Winter" Goodbye!
"Cress" was hilarious! I am partly almost died, because the sayings that the characters (mostly Throne and Cress or Jacin has something Fieses of given up) have brought and Iko surprised me. I did not particularly in "Cinder", but here I found them at once incredibly personable and funny, so I really do wonder about the reason why I did not like them.
And Cinder grows increasingly fond of me - she's compared to Scarlet Cress and still not my favorite course, but they will always be comprehensible, above all, because it slowly but surely accept their abilities, as well as their fate.
And the Scarlet Wolf storyline has left me with mouth open, because that was really unexpected, but at the same time I find their love story still wonderful and it is not finished yet!
That's me anyway noticed: While all girls Love Interests and interact with them, but actually finished it will probably be only with "Winter".
And in winter I am so very excited, and I do not mean the book, but the character of the winter. She had a brief appearance and it has to be my personal favorite character to push the potential of my Scarlet from the throne, because it is truly unique!
So a character you do not find often and Marissa Meyer has the talent their characters to differentiate from each other so that they all have their own aspects. No matter what point of view you're reading, the characters look the same and that's a great achievement, because often the characters from the outside act differently than if you were in her head. That's not the case here at all, and I admire Marissa Meyer incredible for this masterpiece!
And since "Cress" based on Rapunzel, there were of course parallels. Unfortunately, I was the story not so in mind and I have the parallels discovered at repeated thought when I had half read the book. Then things of Rapunzel films came to my mind and I decided on the story to read it again. And I can only recommend, because if you know all the details of the tale, knows to appreciate the book again more than you already do - at least that was with me so!
I can only recommend beforehand to re-read the fairy tale Rapunzel by most to learn reading experience and not miss anything, because there were many parallels that were simply incorporated terrific!
Conclusion
"Cress" has my love for Luna chronicles only grew. Marissa's writing style their characters and their plot are without the slightest error or defect and if there are a number that I would recommend fairy tale lovers, it would be the Luna chronicles!
I'm in love and wish next year would not appear before the last book of the series, but at the same time I'm incredibly excited!
But since I'm a little over-done with my enthusiasm, I leave it in the statement, "Cress" was an incredible reading experience!
