Nothing miraculous, but honest results. I scanned so far in the 350 slides, some old and in a questionable state (and struggle with low quality equipment) (40!): It's a bit of archeology! It is not especially fast (4 slides at a time, in about 3 minutes), but ultimately this is an interesting pastime in itself to revive those old slides and see them reappear on the screen. The big problem is dust, and dust reduction function does not seem to have much effect; therefore, anti-static cloth, bomb, and after retouching scan (Picasa). The interpretation by the photos in square format scanner is sometimes painful, turn and flip the photo at random to accept not to cut corners. I have not yet tried to scan negatives or paper photographs. It's probably not a real pro equipment, but for the use I do, and for the price, it suits me.
