This door locks is very effective.
I use it on wooden floors and tiled floors. With that, my son can not open or close the door, so it does not get stuck fingers.

Attention it right "twist" a little the metal part to pass under the door, I think it implies that there is at least 5mm gap between the door and the floor. Same in the other direction, if the space is too large (more than 1 cm), there will be no pressure on the metal and it will not block the door.
