My pitch is only 3m. From there no artefacts or similar image disturbances can be discerned.
The image of a Bluray is just crystal clear. Such an image impression I had expected only from real native 4K material.
The player will also very quickly. The drive is inaudible. The housing quality looks quality. Only the disc tray seems very cheap. Because I would have liked a better processing.
Apps like Amazon Instant Video running smoothly.
However, the picture quality of the SD material is no longer acceptable for me.
In my seat removal I am now addicted to the crystal clear Bluray images.
What surprised me, however, the DVD quality at 4K. I had expected to be able to enjoy any more DVD. The opposite is the case. The images are very well extrapolated even at medium quality. A good DVD is really not fun. Chill lie to my old player since at least 3 levels of quality about it.
Pixels, flicker and other artifacts are somehow weggebügelt. A very nice effect. Especially when you know the weaknesses of individual image slices and can now be seen nothing more of it!
The HD sound over a 7.1 system is actually very dynamic and rich in detail.
I used to buy high-end players from Denon. Today you get an absolute high-flyer who delivers a 4k idea that I would not have thought it possible for little money by Sony.
Thanks to Sony for this player, without whom I can not imagine my home theater life is no longer ...
