The details from my perspective
Delivery:
The headphones supplied in a robust package which, as usual nowadays, did not contain written information (formerly called the manual). The components are so clear that this is not absolutely necessary. The question for me was, if you can take the headset apart harmless or not. After the pictures on the package would have been suspect.
First Impression:
The Kopförer is completely made of plastic. However, well finished (no sharp edges or protrusions). How high is this, to be seen over time. In the area of the headband has been dispensed with padding. The temple, however, is so light that it must not have too big disadvantages. As cable ribbon cable was used. I assume that you want to prevent cable breaks. If so, I think that's quite reasonable. In a micro cable is integrated, so you can use the headset also to call (on the phone or on the DECT handset, provided it has a 2.5mm jack connection) or use a PC. Someone has even thought along. The cable ends with a developed 90 degrees connector. That makes just for connection to mobile phones sense tucked in your pocket. The upholstery of the earphones are covered with a kind of silk fabric and feel dibasic. Stylish headphones Look impressive. Even my teenage son liked the headphones so that you are here all generations on the safe side.

Comfort:
The headset is really very easy, so that you also may well be open a long time it could be found without this excessively annoying. As expected, the lack of padding on the headband are therefore to get over. The headphone generates sufficient pressure to close the ear cups firmly around the ears. Adjusting the strap goes without problems. Overall, the earpieces are rather small, which to me the one hand gives the impression that I would have excessively large ears, and on the other hand, gives an idea of sound leakage. Here my son is much better come with the headphones cope.

Sound:
But the real evaluation criterion is the sound. I have faced the headphones with different genres (collectively, I'll call it modern music, but in addition also with metal and classical music), both at the plant and on the phone with MP3 and conventional CD's operated. For a comparison of the cell phone I put in this context, with my in-ear headphones from Sony forth, moving roughly in the same price segment. On the system I run wireless headphones from Sennheiser, which are priced significantly higher than those tested by Philips.
If you want to enjoy pure music on the system, the headphones from Philips, it is a clear lack of clarity of the treble. Could still get over this in modern music (in my opinion), but it is in pieces from the range Metal (eg Toundras "Requiem") or classic to clear so that one can speak of any real pleasure here. The basses are sure to behave in my view, what but a little disappointed me to the promise on the packaging ("Explosive bass"). All in all, the headphones for operation at the plant only as a "last resort" to recommend and pulls against the Sennheiser clearly lose out. But I did not expect anything else.
Curious why I was more on the use of the mobile phone. But again, it appears that the kompremierten versions do not provide a different result in mp3. The sound of the headphones is in the high places were not marked and not fed enough in the depths. Also, adjustment of the on-board the mobile equalizer brought no really satisfactory result. Here is for me the in-ear headphones clear advantage. As for the noise, which penetrates a part of the outside of the headphones (ambient noise) and on the other hand produced from the headphones to the outside, the result is gratifying for me. Although environmental noise can be perceived, but by the good pressure of the bracket I did not bothersome. The same is true for sounds that are produced through the headphone. Do not listen to a volume that can damage one's ears, the environment is being harassed not great. One must in the built-in microphone during a call not too close, because then you can hardly understand. If allowed to simply dangle, you're good to understand the interlocutor however.

Conclusion:
The headset is stylish and therefore quite interesting for the target group of young people. It can also take a long time without impairments. With the built-in micro headphones has an add-on, that's for really useful. Sonically you can live with it, but you do not. Here there are certainly alternatives in this price segment. All in all could get the Philips not persuaded to send my old in-ear headphones in retirement.
