On Nickel 8

Combining multi-module facade and USB 3 card via PCI-E (for USB3 not available on my config before), this is the perfect upgrade for anyone who wants to bring his USB3 config without breaking the bank. Plus with ports on the front, there or should have been acquiring USB3 PCI-E card and rack USB3 in the majority of other sites. I do not find any equivalent to this product and especially at this price level (24 Euros) and plus with shipping included. I recommend it highly.

The product is Broway brand and based on a chipset via VL800. For installation, forget the CD and be sure to download the latest drivers "VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.30A_AP.zip" VIA website:

On my Asus P6T eve config Core i7 920 + I reached on a LaCie Prosche Design, 180MB / s to 200MB / s read and 90MB between / s and 120MB / s write, which could be better.
