The survey and plot I liked very much. Everything is taking and advance at a good pace. "Dangerous Lady" is a historical romance with a little flight side and really interesting espionage. The duo Hugh and Meggs is both funny and touching. They have a special relationship but accomplice respectful. The social position so different from our two characters offers us some funny situations and often funny dialogues. Meggs Hugh and get to know the pages for our delight.
Meggs is a young, strong, independent woman. She has no language in his pocket and I liked his personality. She is also touching in his relationship with his little brother.
As for Hugh, it does not specifically dream (certainly not me, lol) but it is a kind and just man. It was really touched by Meggs and Timmy, and he wants their happiness.
However, towards the end of the novel, when Hugh and Meggs finally give in to their passion, I was really disappointed. Actually, I preferred "friends" because I found them all vulgar. In addition, the end of the plot is really rushed and the final revelation comes as a fly in the soup. It's a shame.
In short, my opinion on "Dangerous Lady" is mixed. I enjoyed the first half of the novel. Unfortunately once resolute investigation, the second part of the story I was rather disappointed. The characters change and the book lacks a real plot to take over the investigation.
