I bought two of these cards in February 2011 and had seitedem both regularly in use. In May I photographed at a wedding ... and copied the photos immediately after arriving home from the card to the PC, so leave the data on the cards. A week later I had prepared myself for the next wedding, format animals all my memory card ... except for one, because they do not want a sudden. The card is defective, the photos would have gone without immediate copy. That could have gone in the pants genuine!
The Error: The camera does not recognize the card, and PCs with different card readers recognize only a 1.8GB card, but no longer can be formatting.
I'll call at Transcend: The friendly lady recommended me to swap the card through the retailer, which I try. Two weeks later, the substitute comes ... but the joy quickly gives way to disappointment. Instead of 300x I got a 400x card, which unfortunately does not have a SLC memory and only about one third of Taste. A call to the dealer leads to the realization that this memory card Transcend currently can not supply and therefore the 400x has sent as "equivalent" card. The dealer has kindly refund the purchase price, the 60 was below the current price, but it looks as if I still get a copy of the card for less money from another dealer, so I made the Throughout history with financial gain and little annoyances and time loss is apparent.
Another call to Transcend shows willingness to cooperate. I decide, however, to send the card to the dealer to refund the purchase price back.
Conclusion: So far I have had very good experiences with Transcend, both with the products and with the service. Since the cards have so far served me well and I'm still scarred past the great misfortune, there are three stars. I start from a single error and hope that the cards have proven themselves over the coming years.
PS: Transcend granted its guarantee practical only if card reader Transcend be used. Otherwise, a technical failure of the card reader of another manufacturer could damage the card, what the warranty does not cover understandably. Therefore, I use the Transcend cards, the Transcend All-in-1 multi-card reader (SDHC / SDXC / MSXC, USB 3.0) Black, with whom I at USB 2.0 read speeds of 34 MB / s and write rates of 18-20 MB / s receive. 'M Curious how fast the device will be at USB 3.0 ...
