One of the best albums that ever came from Germany

Alphaville's "Forever Young" is one of the ten albums that I would recommend to anyone for a long stay on a deserted island. Each of the ten pieces has a very high recognition value, the gentle rustling "A victory of love" through the melancholy "Summer in Berlin" to the funky "The Jetset". The hits "Big in Japan", "Sounds like a melody" and the right for all cuddly scenes "Forever Young" are also covered 16 years later still successful. This album has it very good and very successful pop music. Who knows how the story would have been different if Frank Mertens did not leave the band after this album ...
