A variant with an extension cord is certainly useful if you want to give even the passengers in the back seat access to "flow". (Then could incidentally also a model with multiple slots make sense where you there must be ensured that the device does not overheat ...)
However, when only the driver and front passenger to be granted access, then this device is very convenient. So you can therefore operate at the same time an external navigation and telephone.
TEST:
The plugging of the distributor was easily (in a Hyundai, and also in a BMW). Everything fit beautifully without wobbling. My gripe with this distribution is, however, the "pivotal" arm. Yes, it is pivoted and it holds quite well (small gear with "stopper"). But the button to "release" in my opinion, is quite useless, since with a little pressure, the gear can be moved and the arm with a distinct "rattling" is adjusted. Loosening the knob (sitting quite close to the connector) is as much more complicated, depending on the position of the cigar lighter. Therefore, most users will probably choose the "brutal" method and I'm then in terms of durability is not so sure ...
Conclusion:
It does what it should. Compared with alternatives, it does not differ too much from the others. The 7sprachige "Manual" is held in extremely short supply. But the machine is so easy to use per se, it's not really necessary either. Only the meaning of the "button" on the back of the manifold (below the CE certification mark, s. Photo) can not develop. I guess that this button is only decoration. But unfortunately, this button will turn some users as a "stumbling block", since it can be confused with the gray button for releasing the locking of the support (especially because it is more visible than the other!).
