Unfortunately, the product (the true sense of the protective film) falls at the most important point through completely. I own a mid-2014 MacBook Pro 15 ", so the" new "and" thin "Macbook. On this MacBook does not fit the keypad protection leieder! At the edges, where the keyboard area merges into the portion of the case is the silicone protection via ud sets thus not smooth on the keyboard. In general, the silicone protection is too large to all buttons and is not smooth on the keyboard. This is very annoying because of the protection as not only raises waves, but striking the individual keys is also extremely difficult because between Silicone and actual tactile a large, air-filled hollow space is created. When I tap you then firstly a very unpleasant feeling, and it happens very often that a key is not struck properly because it expresses only the hollow space between Silicone and key together, but the real key is not really true. The tap is therefore very uncomfortable and a real show of strength since a lot of pressure must be exerted in order to reasonably can tap.
I am very disappointed that the IMR product visually fulfills every wish, only its actual purpose is unfortunately absolutely not equitable. For me, the silicone protection is just not used.
So watch out! Who one of the newer (thin) has MacBooks ... Stay away !!
