The V3 is of the optics, certainly an eye. That was also the reason why I bought it) Even the packaging of mobile phones and accessories in aluminum instead of cardboard makes her a lot. Even the included accessories is impressive: Headset (with cable), USB cable, charger, leather case, belt clip, etc. For other manufacturers that must be usually purchased separately. Witzig is also a small trailer with Soft bottom, so you can free the display from annoying fingerprints. Is also to fasten directly on the mobile phone (small loop) and has the nice side effect that I could thus save the noble part twice before falling down (I could just have the loop pack). The door is a little hard to open, and in a hurry to slip a cell phone ever accidentally out of hand, there is firmer phones. The keyboard is great, finally no more shaky Platiktasten (that was for me a reason to buy the V3). Pressure points are OK and the keys to operate well. Unfortunately, that's still typing SMS lengthy because the software is very slow and one is often tempted to jump manually to the next letter. So nothing for quick and permanent prediction. The battery life is not good enough for a cell phone this Preiklasse. In standby mode still quite acceptable but woe to you use it a lot to make phone calls. It depends with me almost every night, max. every second at the outlet and I bought also equal a charging cable for the car (a good investment). The display of the battery status at Motorola is too imprecise. The first third of the batteries in the display keeps relatively long, then it goes rapidly to an end and you will hear an annoying "battery low" beep. And since we are already in the really negative sides of the beautiful part: The software is far from top and has also repeatedly some dropouts, occasional crashes complete I want to talk even further - happens sometimes, even in mid-conversation. Also the input swith the phone takes a looong time, RECALLING somehow to Windows XP - including the risk of falling. The menu system is a bit strange for Nokia / Siemens experts that but you can not blame Motorola now as a negative point. You get used to it and then it is also OK and the V3 can be operated very well and easily. The voice quality is very good. Every now and then it roars something after about 3 minutes of talk time, the noise is then but in longer conversations and after a few seconds away. The built-in speaker is great and especially as handsfree ideal (though not in the car because of road noise). The lateral volume control keys on the cover sometimes is pressed accidentally, the toggle switches also speak a little inaccurate at. My conclusion, you should think in advance what you want: A well-equipped business phone (infrared interface is missing and Outlook Syncronisation I due to the well-known problems with the included lite version of "mobile PhoneTools" far avoided - Motorola wants for the "professional" version extra money) or a visual highlight primarily for phone calls? For the latter, it is certainly to be recommended absolutely and the currently most beautiful phone. But all in all I was only a mediocre rating because of VA Software. For the hardware alone I would give 5 stars. But perhaps Motorola brings so soon a optmierte software version for the V3 ...
