The blister packaging is ever completely without scissors on which processing is Logitech typically very high, the grips on the side are rubberized, the surface is decorated in matt and not in this dreadful piano lacquer crap. The mouse has a smooth underside without Gleitfüßchen and is not really suitable for the desktop. Included is a nano receiver that is compatible with other Logitech products (in my case a K340 piano black keyboard) A slightly larger could be the small rodents, but is still ok.
Installation is simple purely by hand, batteries, receiver in the PC - there you go. The Logitech Set Point software is available from the Internet. The wizard for the Unifying receiver is installed automatically.
Handling is great, the buttons have a clean, strong pressure point. The mouse works on many smooth surfaces less good, but on long carpets, sofa and ceiling on the dog the better! The "freewheel wheel" I know from my Logitech notebook mouse. I do not want to miss it. In rest mode, it can be precisely scroll in small steps, once it is pressed the mouse wheel in the freewheeling and you can already with a small Schupser vollgas scroll through meter-long forum posts and stop quickly again. The left / right tilt of the mouse wheel is ideal for back / forward in the web browser. You get used to it so much that you will try that with any other mouse and (-:
The hand recognition of the mouse does what it should, ie as soon as you touch the mouse, it is active. Does absolutely reliable! Handy if you fall asleep again with the mouse in hand and it disappears somewhere in the couch cranny .. (-;
Conclusion: strong buy recommendation!
Update after 1.5 years: Function still top, yet FIRST battery pack at 2-3 hours use per day, no disturbances, now really cheap
