I bought the ear protectors during a dragster race on the Hockenheimring. The effectiveness of this protection is really very good. The noise level directly at the fence at the starting line was very tolerable. Nevertheless, despite the good protection, it was possible to communicate with other viewers.
The neckband was quite convenient for me, although the ear protection always something slid down. I think that holding a headband better here. But since I am an outspoken headband haters, the hearing protection with this neckband was really perfect for me.
