10 days of use later ...
* The laptop sits nicely in hand, the workmanship is good, no visual defect, no play: serious impression. The object is anonymous: its design, its simplicity, its looks match its function and fits perfectly in the pocket. Neither cheap nor statutory, that's fine.
* Warranty 2 years is reassuring. Plus, in any case, the manufacturer's nationality, the product of French nayant its rebranding and a quick start guide rather well done but only documentation available.
(Whisper for Mac-users: Mobile fully recognized by the Finder in USB mass storage available wi-fi with third Transfers apps, Bluetooth transfers but acknowledged "not available" basis.)
* Phone: excellent grip (Prixtel / SFR network) in my village (plain) as 3G / H + quen "voice and data". The sound is "fair" to "good" for the correspondents.
* Multimedia: fluid video (480 / 720p max, not tried 1080p) supplied headphones not bad, good listening (movies, games, MP3 classical, rock, jazz, funk, electro). Restitution speakers powerful enough but without bass or finesse. Definition screensavers friendly, good contrast, brightness and good color.
Only real fault of the screen: his attachment to our fingerprints. Frankly not fatal to lusage.
* System: Android 4.2.2 Quick, functional, properly Frenchified (1 or 2 shells), effective as Landroid knows Letre. The absence overlay does not support a dual-core CPU swift on my daily tasks SMS, calls, surfing, calendar & cloud, MP3, videos and a few casual games on the occasion. Fluid interface.
The apps provided by Archos (music / video + file management) are in part duplicates with Google apps.
SD-card: no, this is possible, this is comfort.
* Battery: first charge held 2 days 4 hours before the first message davertissement (15%) in non-intensive use (3G and wi-fi activated regularly). The second load reaches 2 days 20 hours (before the first message), the third 3 days 17 hours, still on the same uses. The importance of properly calibrate the battery from the start.
* Camera: Proper little effect of "blurring" the correct speed and autofocus while the condition of not moving too much and with minimum brightness. The video appeared to me more anecdotal quality.
* Finally, a bug one were needed: the laptop refused to return the original color on the Indicator my 3G network SIM (color can be changed in settings). Solved by changing the SIM port (on 2G, so) there where the change was accepted by the software. SIM reneged on its 3G port since, with good color indicator (blue). Laughable, not really a problem or blocking.
Conclusion: to date (D + 10), I am pleased with this purchase that meets my personal uses 60% / 40% pro. LArchos Titanium 40 is a product that can perfectly be considered for the acquisition of a 4 inches in this price range (75-100 euros).
See over time.
