Probably the most poignant and ohrwurmverdächtigste theme is heard equal in Track 3 "Fate Has Smiled Upon Us". With a supported primarily by flutes, pipes and strings Instrumentation here a downright heroic-sounding musical theme builds with high recognition value. This will be taken up again in track 14 "Siege" and accelerated in very successful manner. Even otherwise, the score repeatedly shines through elegiac slide on into the distance string passages, such as in track 9 "Sherwood Forest" or Track 11 "Robin speeks". There are a number of tracks with a strong, downright vorantreibendem (ethno) percussion use, the use of timpani makes repeated for rhythmic salient extravagances. Short instrumental solos of violin, lute and cello occur beyond repeatedly from the orchestral composition produced and provide individual accents. Rounding out the clear celtic inspired by their instrumentation soundtrack by two choirs (eg Track 19 "Clash") and the Scottish solo vocalist Kathleen MacInnes, the voices engage repeatedly in the orchestral score.
