Odys Pedi 17.8 cm (7-inch) Tablet PC (Cortex A8 kernel, 1GHz, 512MB RAM, 8GB HDD, WLAN, TFT touchscreen display, Android 4.0.x, Parental Control) incl. 50 e-books and 10 radio plays white / Black (Personal Computers)
We have the Pedi Odys now for over a week and are very satisfied. The tablet is certainly not as high quality as IPad and consorts, however, obtained for 99, - Euro a properly processed Android 4.0 device. Compromises must be in camera and speakers make (is both rather poor), but who already photographed with a tablet and for better sound gibs necessary even headphones. GPS and Bluetooth are not available. But we knew this beforehand and because we do not need these features, it is for us not a shortcoming. Otherwise, we can connect the review of Dr.Bob us actually. The Tablet was therefore neatly packed and with half full battery. Network sought input password and off we went. We (parents) to use the device primarily for reading eBooks and browsing the network, both of which work fine with the existing programs. For our daughter (7) rather the games are interesting. Angry Birds and Petterson's inventions run super smoothly and without problems. Difficulties with the display, as described by Anke, we could not find before. However, our daughter is not playing in the Kids Place. Maybe it's the fact? A little tidbit is the easy access to the mass storage of our Fritz box for us. Recent photos are stored by us there first and can then also be viewed via tablet in the living room.
Conclusion: The Odys Pedi covers our requirements for a tablet for small money from outstanding. We will keep the device in any case and have been buying so far not regretted. One star deduction is available for the crappy speakers.
