The lamp is with me on a daily basis at the meter reading, entering cellars and attics. These enormous lighting and adjustable optics (from wide beam to spot). Inserting the batteries is simple. So far, I am still working with the first set of batteries. The housing is made of aluminum and relatively robust (I took it several times fall). Price-performance is ok. Buy!
