1. To install: without proprietary drivers the part not running under Windows (in my Windows 7/64 bit). After all, is my operating system (in the Device Manager via "driver update") the driver on the CD automatically beiliegenen. The card is supplied with a low profile mounting plate; that is to be commended - unfortunately sits the power jack directly at the top edge of the card; the power connector will no longer fit in the computer case (In my Fujitsu Esprimo E5730). Solution: Power plug about 5 mm Carefully saw off the remaining webs between pinch back the power cables and the power cable bend 90 °; fix the whole with Araldite and isolate. With intelligent arrangement of the power connector, the manufacturer could have spared me this work (about 1 hour). Besides asked to see the dealer selling this stuff, the goods to advance?
2. In order to function, I have tested the software "ChrystalDiskMark" and a 1TB Toshiba USB3 hard disk data transfer rate. The differences are considerable USB2: threefold speed "Sequential Read / Write test (block size = 1024KB)" and 60% speedup with "Random Read / Write Test (Block Size = 512KB)". More could not ask because both the hard drive as well as my PCIe 4X interface limit the data transfer rate.
3. Decision: The card does - after appropriate use of the user - what they should. Nevertheless, because of installation problems two star deduction.
