Original is more expensive - but - better for the nozzles of the printer and the longevity.
After several problems with expensive replacement cartridges in the past - I prefer to stay at the original Canon cartridges - why:
1. The printer nozzles set not to, always a clean clear print image,
2. And especially for images or photo print important - the colors will not fade even after many years!
(That was the case with less expensive replacement cartridges)
I will buy again ...
