My first stroke but was apparently just assembled, and then sent the same Amazon without testing whether the part really works. After the stupid scratch protection film is once peeled away, connected the thing and sieheda! there are just 3 of the 5 ports on the back. The part is detected by Windows 8.1 as a generic SuperSpeed port, and special drivers, it does not seem to give. So back to Amazon so.
Maybe I should just order from Amazon Warehouse Deals, the returns have sold there were at least tested once, only had good experiences with it.
Update 08-2014: The second device, easily get in exchange, had out-of-the-box first times all ports, but lost again after two weeks. If more ports are lost, I take the thing apart to look if I can find the design flaw.
Another star deduction, because I do not get paid for testing, am not even Amazon hobby product testers.
Update 12-2014: and again a star deduction, because after half a year is weakening another port falls, often from, or the whole thing and the computer must be rebooted. Now I do not have time to worry about before Christmas me drum,'m going back next year to see what the Amazon Basic warranty is good.
