I have the camera only recently and have to test neither skiing nor while snorkeling.
I can contribute something, however, for "Tap Control", "Beauty mode" and Verwackelungssoftware.
Tap Control:
A wonderful feature of this camera. You can see the intensity with which you have to touch the camera so that it reacts set. You then type in only the frame and the images jump in viewing mode each time one frame. If you tap on the screen to get from the photo mode back straight to the view mode and back. Quasi a sort speed-dial button. Optimal skiing, or even in everyday life very cool ...
Beauty_Modus:
This mode makes skin wrinkles and redness disappear in the face by the software these bodies "blur" smoothes means of a kind. It looks like makeup, or as clean as from a Sissi movie :-)
There is an extra recording mode, for this type pictures.
Anti-Verwackelungssoftware:
I'm excited! So far no single image is blurred to me. On a birthday I got the camera my 5-year old cousin in the hand and given it is running around with it and has wild images shot. He has waived due to lack of training :-) to focus before the marks and just briefly pressed his finger on the dissolver. I was surprised how sharp were all of his pictures! -For Me the ultimate proof that the software is working properly.
I can make up as "average Joe photographer" no disturbing noise in the pictures. The images are always sharp and the videos are fine. Have already feinpixeligere videos from digicams seen (Canon Ixus 80IS), but quite usable.
The housing is extremely high. Much steel that once polished, is held once matt. Plastic is really just the navigation and the battery cover. The housing is bolted together and looks classy. The camera weighs heavy in the hand and is absolutely beautiful to the touch. The front (blue) is held in the metallic paint, so it acts by even higher quality. However, one sees on the metallic finish (front) very well the fat finger ...
The battery is reliable and lasts a long time. He is replaceable and the size of a mobile phone battery. When the camera is no memory card included is (ne mess in the price).
One point deduction for missing memory card and the video quality is OK, but I have seen better at a camera above and which had only 8MP.
Overall, an eye-catcher, with which one can do everything, and it's sometimes really do not care if the Sohnemann she drops, or you fall on it while skiing, or a snowball directly meets ... :-)
