I have installed the transformer under the carport where previously 3x60W transformers have supplied 8 halogen spotlights with each 20W halogen lamp. The transformer is switched via a motion sensor. After 14 years a reconstruction made sense. So far I have replaced 2 old transformers and 5 of 8 lamps. The transformer does its job without complaint. Even a single LED with 3W enough for the load. Worth noting is there is no appreciable delay the LED light as it is the case with some LED transformers.
Performance-wise, there is enough capacity with 8x3,5Watt LEDs (= 28W). Ie the transformer should not be broken at some point because of congestion. Let's see if he also holds at least 14 years.
