Outstanding! 11

Thanks to the Olympus-action "TEST AND WOW" I had ample opportunity to try out this PRO-zoom on my OMD E-M5. Due to size and weight of the lens here Battery handle HLD-6 is recommended, however. So overall a somewhat larger and heavier MFT Combo (approximately 1,100 g), but still far away from VF-Boliden à la EOS 5D III with EF L 24-70mm f / 2.8.

To make it short: Whether open or dimmed and at any focal length shows this really absolutely class manufactured Lens impeccable excellence. And even surpasses some of the in-house fixed focal length, apart from the luminous intensity (when Zoom "only" f / 2.8). An outstanding, even splash-proof all-rounder so that shows what the MFT system is capable - and not only at the OMD EM-1. But the exemption potential at full aperture gives the so-called full-frame still a plus in design freedom, otherwise one may wonder why someone is willing to haul at least twice as much weight. Qualitatively plays this lens without exaggeration in the PRO league and therefore also offers a terrific value for the money.

Perhaps the best reason, the MFT system to remain faithful. Could not be better!
