Bosch is truly outstanding cooked TV. I do not know the books though, so can not judge whether it's a good literary conversion, but everything else is extremely well done. Bosch is reacted with a calm that can only be a result of an extremely professional approach. Every actor has a presence in every moment, nothing has to push in the foreground, neither the camera nor the script nor the scenery, nor the director nor the actors. Everything is quiet and implemented exactly. Sometimes it's quite small scenes, like the reunion of Bosch and the retired doctor, neighbor of the first murder suspects who are detail and consistent staged. Really big TV.
