I am very particular about sound quality. I have several portable headphones that are references: PortaPro Koss, Sennheiser PX100, Westone UM3 (Intras). After several hours of listening, I can say that the V-Jays outperforms. What is surprising at first listen, it's the clarity of sound. The sound is very detailed, we hear each instrument distinctly include sensations comparable to listening to a HIFI upscale chain. The bass is very present but do not take undue precedence over the rest of the sound spectrum, as can be seen on the Koss. Finally the sound is very dynamic. I once had a Grado SR80, I think it comes close. Proof of its good quality, my ears do not tire, even after prolonged listening to enough elevé level. Comfort level, it cinches the ears but I do not find it annoying, the sound quality and the pleasure it brings to listen to forget this little flaw. The only complaint I have is on some tracks, a certain "hardness" of the mediums. But for me, it has become THE reference portable headset. At this price, do not hesitate!
