But I needed a warmer tone for the cozy living room. This lamp from Toshiba is here for my opinion ideal. The light is warm, with a slight but clearly noticeable yellow tint. The radiated heat color is almost as strong (yellow) as a halogen lamp. The brightness is excellent and a 35W halogen lamp easy par, with a 4W with significantly lower power consumption.
The crucial point is, of course, be the life of this LED. This provides and also covers the issue of cost-effectiveness compared to a normal halogen bulb. In the event that the LED prematurely give up the ghost, I'll include here an update with the actual durability.
Apart from the not predictable life I value the lamp because of the very good color temperature and the excellent brightness with full five stars. Indicated by Toshiba a switching capability of more than 15,000 circuits, there are manufacturers that promise more circuits, but I just hope that Toshiba has simply calculated only conservative, not too much to guarantee in an individual case.
Also, the price-performance ratio is reasonable, especially since I often had too cold for my taste light at much cheaper no-name products, even though they were offered as warm white. With this LED is also true durability, there is a strong buy recommendation.
