More than three Decades after Obtaining a degree in electronics but never working in the industry I have come home as a hobby and potential retirement pasttime. I used the first edition at University and on opening my copy of the third edition it is like meeting a long lost old friend again. I can not stress what a pleasure reading this book is. For some reason I find understanding circuits and concepts much easier now, maybe there is less stress, who knows. HOWEVER I can leaf through at random, look at a circuit, read the explanation and understand straightaway what it does and why.
I thoroughly recommend this book to all students and budding hobbyists. It is a must have for anyone with even a passing interest in the subject. Dive in and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.
