1980 So parted ways, Ozzy struck a solo career, Iommie Dio won in the band.
I do not want to digress very, but Dio plays vocally some leagues about Ozzy, the album Heaven and Hell (Dios debut with Sabbath) I like very much.
Blizzard of Ozz has me but very disappointed.
Most of the songs sound to me like simple rock'n'roll songs.
3 titles stand out from the Mittelmäßgkeit which are for me
-Crazy Train: Arguably one of the most famous songs Osbournes, great reef and in general I like the guitar very well, the instrumental part makes up for a lot so here.
-Mr. Crowley: Very quiet, gloomy atmosphere, still remembers most of old Sabbath day, for such songs Ozzy is simply created.
-Goodbye To Romance: not as strong as first named, but also very quiet, beautiful melodies, I like it.
The remaining 6 titles go, as already mentioned, rather towards rock, are very catchy and memorable.
Per se that is of course not bad, but the style is clearly different from that in Sabbath, hence my disappointment.
However, If you like catchy rock, the album is already fallen ...
