I do not normally write reviews often, but for products that impress me really positively, I should reward the manufacturer already.
The following initial situation: 3-year-old system, complete standard fan, annoying noise.
CPU: AMD Phenom II 965 quad core, boxed fan, Radeon HD 6850
The range of CPU fans on relevant forums slays an almost, so on the off chance here at Amazon to order first available.
This should turn out to be dead right:
+ Easy installation
+ Even appealing design
+ Reasonable price
+ Relatively compact dimensions with yet larger cooling skeleton than the normal fan
+ Cable well placed
+ Despite low speed more moderate temperatures than before in IDLE
- Only the long-term experience will possibly be one or the other negative point, but until then there is the case a "6 Year Limited Warranty"
Conclusion: Anyone who wants to improve his system noticeably, but this will keep costs to a manageable framework, should set the cooler urgently.
In addition to the CPU cooler I donated my PC two new case fan 120mm from the same company (Arctic) and am also satisfied. Will therefore even my graphics card also newly bekühlen.
Tip: I use SpeedFan 4:49 to manage the fan. Thus, the speed of the temperature is adjusted. But even if the fan revs up at boot time, it's not too loud.
