Passive version has a super sound

Pros: - Well-balanced frequencies and balanced sound, even if the bass of house could do with a little more power out (with minimal EQ adjustments super tired) -> Bass is even without EQ much better than eg Bose Puresound KH or other KHS in the price range (ie 200) or if the bass is stronger in other KHS, then there the mids and highs are washed out and dull. With the minimal increases in low frequencies in the EQ (for example, when a Lumia 820) you get rich, but clear sound.

- 3 different detachable flat cable (iOS Remote, Universal Remote [also WinPhone] and no remote)
- Folded and stowed in the supplied bag
- See relatively unobtrusive and "adult" when one compares them with the times kobligen gizmos of beats or the Monster N-Pulse.

Cons:
- The ear pads are not deep enough, so that the headset after about 5 hours (I have placed on work over 8 hours per day) to start, unfortunately for my ears "hurt" because they "create" my ears and that is sometime unpleasant. As the example, the Monster N-Pulse better, with the same sound quality. The fact have very thick and yet pleasantly soft ear pads.
- Audio cable to the universal in-line remote indeed works (call answer / end call, Play / Pause, Voice Command), but when you press the button, it may happen that the headphones start to creak a little, which is clearly at low volumes by the music (mostly quiet title) comes through, and can be eliminated only by unstoppering and restart the phone plugs. The audio cable without the Remote Control has not. So when you hear out there and go for and consequently loud music, no one hears the buzz possible. But if you wanted to relax in your 4 walls rather take the "pure" audio cable.

Conclusion:
Super ingenious headphones, unfortunately with a few flaws in long wearing comfort from about 5h.

Maybe one more tip for WP or Lumia users: in Settings -> Audio -> improvements you must always switch off the "Dolby Headphones" and "audio-leveling", otherwise there's a big disappointment when it comes to sound quality. I am a metalhead and genre sounds simple bombastic with these headphones. I find other genre are easier to use because they do not require as rock and metal all frequencies at once so much. Consequently, HipHop / Rap and Electro / Dance / House also hear great and the bass sounds good and has power (even more blatant, it will be set when the last three bands in the EQ very high or then graded, which I highly recommend, as my Ears are very sensitive level and at the Techno heights sometimes can easily scratch the pain threshold and be blunted by the EQ a bit in favor of the bass). Who, of course, a booming, artificial Bass expects like beats, Audio Technica ATH-M50S, Skullcandy Crusher etc. is wrong here. The bass is at this inspiration right: Powerful, but not artificial and spongy.

PS: These headphones are also perfectly suitable to test the quality of the source. At least 320kbit / s MP3 are here mandatory otherwise you will lost some. Also, not every source is (sound card and mobile phone dependent).
